Infantry and cavalry civ: all Militia-line upgrades are free, Men-at-Arms right from Feudal Age. Town Centers cost 50% less stone. Blacksmith and Siege Workshop technologies cost 50% less food. From Castle Age they build Kreposts: small castles for 350 stone that train Konniks and Petards. The Konnik (unique unit) keeps fighting on foot after it dies. Stirrups: cavalry attacks 33% faster. Bagains: Militia-line +5 melee armor. Team: Blacksmiths work 80% faster.
Often a Drush, then Skirmishers and Spearmen – their Militia become Men-at-Arms for free in Feudal Age; a Scout rush is just as common. In Castle Age Knights and Light Cavalry, plus Konniks from Krepost drops close to your base; cheap Town Centers help the boom. With Stirrups their cavalry attacks 33% faster. In Imperial Age Konniks, Cavaliers and Hussars, plus Two-Handed Swordsmen with Bagains (+5 melee armor).
Archers help against the Drush and Men-at-Arms, but their Skirmishers hunt them – add Scouts. Tear down Kreposts early with Rams or siege before Konniks come out. Against Konniks first Camel Riders and Pikemen for the mounted part, then Archers for the dismounted Konniks. Monks work well because they lack Faith. They also lack Crossbowman, Arbalester, Ring Archer Armor, Champion and Paladin.
Plus 149 build orders for every civ – step by step with voice guidance in the player.
