Overview

Cavalry and counter-unit civ: infantry, Slingers and Skirmishers have +5/10/15 HP in Feudal/Castle/Imperial Age. Foragers drop off 25% more food. Settlements replace Mill, Lumber Camp and Mining Camp and train Spearmen and Skirmishers. Mounted units generate +3 gold per military unit defeated. Enemy Castles are revealed on the map. Instead of a Stable and the Militia line they have Champi units. Kona (unique unit from the Castle) are cavalry that deal more damage to wounded targets. Bolas Riders (unique unit from the Archery Range) replace Cavalry Archers and slow their targets. Malon: Bolas Riders, Slingers and Skirmishers deal pass-through damage. Butalmapu: Bolas Riders and the team's Castle unique units cost 15% less. Team: Spearmen and Skirmishers +2 line of sight.

What to expect from the Mapuche

On open maps usually Skirmishers and Spearmen from Settlements or Archers, otherwise Fast Castle – Hera recommends them for the Champi Rush. They scout with Champi Scouts. In Castle Age Bolas Riders are their most-built unit, plus Skirmishers, Spearmen and Kona. Kona clean up wounded units, Bolas Riders slow down your cavalry.
